To lock cover on base:

Once you have placed your cake on the tray, place the cover onto the tray so the ring handles align with the tray slots. Push the two small clips down so that the ring handles lock into the tray’s handles. 

When you want to expand the cover:

Lock the collapsed cover on the tray on a flat surface.

Grab the cover’s handle and turn it in counterclockwise direction.

The cover is fully expanded when:

You hear a click.

You are unable to turn the top part any further.

The mark on the cover is aligned with the lock symbol on the ring. 

When you want to collapse the cover:

Lock the expanded cover on the tray on a flat surface.

Grab the cover’s handle and turn it in clockwise direction. 

The cover is fully collapsed when:

You hear a click.

You are unable to turn the top part any further.

The mark on the cover is aligned with the lock symbol on the ring. 

To disassemble product for cleaning: 

Place collapsed cover with ring in the locked position and without the tray on a flat surface. 

Hold the ring at its side handle with one hand to keep it in place. Grab the cover’s handle with your other hand and turn it in counterclockwise direction gently for approx 45° until the mark on the cover aligns with the assemble/disassemble icon on the ring.

Push down the cover so it rests on the surface. Remove the ring while holding both side handles. 

To assemble product: 

Place cover on a flat surface. Place the ring over the cover and let it rest on the surface.

Align the mark on the cover with the assemble/disassemble icon on the ring.

Hold ring with one hand to keep it in its place. With your other hand, lift the cover upwards, while both dials are being aligned, and now start to turn the cover in clockwise direction until you lock it in low position.
